CUSTOM PROJECTS AND MADE-TO-ORDER JEWELRY TERMS OF SERVICE
OVERVIEW This Custom Projects and Made-to-Order Jewelry Terms of Service (“Custom TOS”) governs your purchase of bespoke and made-to-order jewelry from The Real Jewelry Company. By placing an order for custom jewelry, you agree to be bound by this Custom TOS in addition to our general Terms of Service.
Due to the personalized and bespoke nature of custom projects, all sales are final. There are no refunds, returns, or exchanges unless otherwise specified herein.
SECTION 1 - FINALITY OF SALES All custom projects and made-to-order jewelry purchases are final sale. These items are handcrafted and created specifically for you based on your order details, making them ineligible for return, refund, or exchange under any circumstances except as outlined in Section 2 below.
SECTION 2 - DAMAGE CLAIMS POLICY We take great care to ensure that your jewelry arrives in pristine condition. In the rare event that your custom jewelry arrives damaged:

You must submit a damage claim within three (3) days of delivery. Claims submitted after this period will not be considered.

Your order number

Detailed photographs of the damage, including the packaging

We reserve the right to inspect the damaged jewelry to determine whether the damage occurred during delivery or as a result of customer actions. This inspection may require you to ship the item back to us for evaluation. If shipping is required, we will provide instructions, and reasonable shipping costs may be covered by us if the damage is confirmed to be delivery-related.

If we determine that the damage is delivery-related, we will offer one of the following remedies at our discretion:

Repair of the damaged item

Replacement with an identical item

Store credit for the value of the item

If it is determined that the damage resulted from misuse, mishandling, or any action by the customer, no remedy will be provided.
SECTION 3 - CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

It is your responsibility to ensure that all order details, including measurements (e.g., ring size), design specifications, and other instructions, are accurate and final before confirming your custom order.

Changes to custom orders after confirmation may result in additional charges or may not be accommodated depending on the production stage.

Proper care and handling of custom jewelry are essential to maintain its condition. We provide care instructions with each purchase and recommend following these guidelines to prolong the life of your jewelry.
SECTION 4 - PRODUCTION TIMELINES Custom projects and made-to-order jewelry require significant time and craftsmanship. Estimated production timelines will be communicated at the time of order. While we strive to meet these timelines, delays may occur due to factors such as material availability or design complexity. Delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
SECTION 5 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY Our liability for any custom project is limited to the value of the jewelry purchased. Under no circumstances shall The Real Jewelry Company be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of custom jewelry.
SECTION 6 - GOVERNING LAW This Custom TOS and any disputes arising hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
SECTION 7 - CHANGES TO CUSTOM TOS We reserve the right to update or amend this Custom TOS at our sole discretion by posting updates on our website. Any changes will apply to orders placed after the changes are published.
